Ministry of the Interior made a criminal complaint against Republican People’s Party (CHP) member Ramazan Ismail Uygur, who won the local elections in Torbalı district of Izmir, due to the speech he gave during the handover ceremony. The mayor is charged with “insulting Erdoğan” within the investigation.
